Colour and shape follow ISO 7010 / IS 9457. Each row is a distinct sign type your site must carry.
Material & mounting guidance
- Rigid ACP or engraved anodised aluminium for panel labels — must survive heat and cleaning solvents.
- Arc-flash labels: polyester with UV-stable ink; replace when incident energy is re-studied (every 5 years or on retrofit).
- Mount 'Danger' notice at eye level next to the panel operating handle, not on the wall opposite.
- Bilingual (English + local language) is a Rule 35 requirement in most Indian states.
