Colour and shape follow ISO 7010 / IS 9457. Each row is a distinct sign type your site must carry.
Material & mounting guidance
- Photoluminescent film for every exit, escape-route arrow and floor line (DIN 67510 class C or D).
- Emergency eye-wash / shower signs on 3-sided wing so they are visible from any approach.
- Assembly point signs on independent poles, 3 m height, visible from 30 m — never wall-mounted only.
- Refuge area signs mandatory in India for buildings > 15 m (NBC 2016).
